Welcome to our first newsletter of 2021!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year. Thank you to all those who got in touch over the festive period, it is much appreciated.

We are living in stressful and frustrating times but I for one am incredibly positive that we at St Patrick’s Golf Club will have an enjoyable and exciting season when it gets going.

Shop news

Latest update

Currently, the shop will in line with government guidance remain closed, I cannot operate click and collect but DELIVERY is allowed, so if there is anything you are interested in then please get in touch. Putting Mats and Putting Mirrors for indoor practice are available.

This is usually the time of year when the companies start to release new product, but due to current circumstances this will most likely be pushed back. We will have all the latest products arriving in time for the season to start from TaylorMade, Callaway, PING and Titleist, as well as new clothing ranges from Galvin Green and FootJoy.

As we kick off a new year, I would like to thank everyone for their support over the last year. Thank you.

Golf on Tour

A look ahead at what's to come...

2020 was a year like no other, both in golf and in the world as a whole. However, with 2021 now upon us, let’s take a look at some of the events for us golf fans to get excited about this year…

Firstly, The Masters returns to its April date, just five months on from Dustin Johnson’s record-breaking win back in November. This is followed by three more Majors in the men's game and five in the women's, including the one that got away in 2020: The Open Championship!

To top it all off, we have both the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup in the same month - September. Let’s hope Team Europe are partying twice this September! Oh, and let's not forget about the Olympics!

Something to work towards

Come rain or shine, golfers never need an excuse to dust off the cobwebs and get onto the course. So, with lots of golf to (hopefully) look forward to in 2021, there's no better time to conjure up some golf-based resolutions for the year ahead.

Making resolutions

You may have decided you’d like to reduce the number of three-putts you have each round (don't we all!) or to get less frustrated when you hit a bad shot. Whatever your resolutions are, we're here to help in any way possible.

Walking in a winter wonderland

Long walks are as much a part of the festive season as eating too much turkey and dozing on the sofa afterwards. Greg Norman once said ‘Happiness is a long walk with a putter’. Now, it would be a little odd to take your putter on a festive walk, but one thing you'll definitely need is a good jacket!
